I have a copy of the LP, "Falling Rain, Songs by H.M. the King of Thailand" â€" I've made a few CD copies for friends, & as a result I sent a $5 cheque a while back to the Royal Thai Ambassador in Washington, by way of royalties to royalty. The last 4 tracks on that CD are also on the LP I have, although completely different recordings of course. But, yeah, the glasses are quite distinctive. I think he originally used them on his official portrait to distinguish himself from his elder brother, King Ananda Mahidol, who died under mysterious circumstances (the official ruling was "suicide" â€" he had a .38 pistol in his hand, & a .45 bullet in his head!).
