Can we see the other side of the tokens?
I wonder if the one on the left is a Hard Times Token ?

Both coins are blank on the back dug them in Midlothian Va.

Yes the one on the left is a coal mine script. The one on the right might be but has the look of a HTT. Script generally had more info on them W.R.Burrows has ties to the mine and area. since the last name in mentioned in the history of the coal mine park in town.
By the way supposedly the first coal mining in the US. but then up and down the eastern mountain ridge assorted places claim that distinction.
