The fact that they are not sold out before release to the general public is saying something. Remember MC members had a crack at them for a whole week.

I think the reason why it hasn't sold out so quickly is because the mint didn't release any of the pictures. People are skeptical and will wait till the official pictures are released before they make a decision. Look at what happened with the Royal Baby coins.

Together with this, the "CANADA 2013 $20 SUPERMAN & METROPOLIS" coin has been sold on ebay at least 4 times for
~$160.00

What will happen, when the pictures will be available?

The price is insane. I know that the Mint had to pay licensing fees and everything, but I fear that the Mint will continue to sell their future releases at this price afterwards. Every time there is an excuse to raise their prices, they do and never go back.

Tristen1230, if you like them, it was worth it. I second NuMoosematist's "Well Done!" comment.

5 out of 7 Superman coins are "Awaiting Stock" at The Mint. That is pretty close to "Sold Out".

Only the Lenticular and Vinatage 1/4 oz are left. Those have large mintages.

Surprising to see a pricey 7 coin collection sell out this fast!
Probably by Monday they will all be gone.

Superman silver coins SOLD OUT this week

Not only are the silver coins going to be gone by the weekend (there's only the 1/4 oz left as I write), but the gold coin has also sold out!

I'm afraid Panda that you are going to have to eat your hat (or at least your gold Superman coin).

Many post offices have the superman coin/stamp in and are expecting the silver ones on Sept. 18th. So it's still possible to get them at issue price.
