1975 Penny I Found In My Pocket - Coin Community Forum

redhead4lyf New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 09/12/2013 12:34 pm Ok. So I have been going threw my pocket change for the last couple of years before I throw it in to my jar of ghange. A couple days ago I pulled this penny out because it looked off to me. It seems like the rim is off a bit or something. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some assistance identifying what is wrong with the coin. Also I only have my phone on me right now to take pictures I will see if I can get better pictures once I get home. Thank you. Report this Post to the Staff

John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 09/12/2013 2:25 pm to CCF. If only one side is off then it is called a MAD.If both sides are off then it's a off-center planchet. Either way yours is not off enough to be keepable. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

I have made a couple more post on here but since I do not have a camera anymore I have to put the coins on a scanner and everyone is telling me the pictures are to far away for them to tell anything.
