Hi I have never heard of a 1953 magnetic penny, so is this a rare penny I have? it is the texture and colour of a nickle or dime....

i do not have a scale that can weigh it... I looked up magnetic 1953 penny and I couldent find anything on google? and why would a penny be plated? lol

The coin is already damaged by the hole,take a larger drill bit and see what kind of filings come out,mystery solved without reduction in value,
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Is it a shoulder fold? if you use a begger drill bit you may not be able to tell? could make coin worth even more?
