weigh it, looks like a lamination issue more than a struck though.

scale says 4.52g .. when I weigh others they range from 4.43 to 4.48 so it seems a bit overweight.. and the hole is quite a bit recessed

Not a lamination. With the multi-ply plated coins (which that one is) a laminated surface would show the copper layer and steel core. In older coins, the weight would be a good clue.

Thanks SPP.. This is the biggest/best one I've seen in person.. I am surprised how deep it goes..
