The farthing is smaller than a quarter but the halfpenny is between a quarter and a half dollar in size. There are a lot of contemporary forgeries of this issue - this one looks genuine to me, but it's difficult to tell without seeing the coin itself. When I turn the coin over to the lady on the back, she actually is upside down. I don't know if that is how the were manufactured or if maybe it is a reproduction. Report this Post to the Staff
Fuzzy317 Moderator United States 14463 Posts	Posted 09/13/2013 7:42 pm I guess I need to add to my pictures: the lines down the center sort of represent a mirror. On a US coin top of one side is closest to bottom of other side. On a UK coin, the tops are joined. Report this Post to the Staff
