The recent Cud threads caused me to remember this coin. Found in a bank roll a few years ago. By far the largest Cud I've ever found ... unusual as well (I believe) by being on the reverse.

Thoughts?

Neat. I don't usually check nickels. Maybe I ought to. I think you're right. Reverse Cuds are few.

I know this was asked once before but I must have missed the answer. Where would I find this listing?

Thanks all for the replies ...

I listed this nickel today on ebay in a 7-day auction with a starting bid of $19.50 ... within 30 minutes had a private offer for $45.

I turned the offer down ... will allow the auction to finish.

There must be some serious collectors who enjoy such error coins.

Thanks robbudo for the attribution ... curious as well about your source for these Cud attributions.

Follow-up in case anyone is interested in how this error coin did in the ebay market ...

Final price was $76 ... not too bad for a roll find at face value.
