Interesting 63 Nickel Error

I tried taking the best pics I could. There is something behind the 6 in 1963, it looks like a rotated 5. Also, the bottom half of "RTY" in liberty and all of "1963" are half missing/duller than the top half. I found it in a roll of my grandmas nickels while looking for dates to fill in a book.

Hi Jimmy! Good eye but unfortunately your nickel is just damaged. It was probably one of the end coins in an open end shotgun style nickel roll. The machine that rolls down the paper on the end hit the coin making the circular damage around the coin. It hit the numbers and letters but didn't go deep enough to hit the field of the coin.

That would explain the partial missing letters....but theres still extra "writing" under/beside the 6

Nothing extra, just displaced metal from the counting machine damage.

You would do better searching this forum for Rolling Machine Damage or Wrapping Machine Damage.
