Going to bump this as well.
I will take a look into my bids tomorrow morning before the gf gets back in the afternoon. We are celebrating 3 long... I mean wonderful years together tomorrow. Still haven't been able to get her to touch one of my Ancient coins yet!

Still deciding about the prize pool. Winners will get to choose one coin. So far, I have these 8 up for grabs. I'm debating about adding some others, or even some moderns (Morgan or Peace dollar) just for grins. *Might* add one of the smaller Ptolemy bronzes I recently bought, but I haven't even attributed them yet and am hesitant to give one up without thorough scrutiny. I haven't examined these either. Bought them as a lot a couple of months ago, haven't even tried to attribute them yet. I'm guessing they are all Philip II and AlexIII, right? And so far there are only 4 entries, with 3 other people who say they are going to put in a bid sheet. I need for at least 3 more people to enter or I'll cancel the contest and try it again some other time. So c'mon, play along! If were planning on waiting until closer to the deadline to submit your bid sheet, at least drop a post in the contest thread letting me know your intentions.

Here are more prize options for the winners, from Warren Esty (aka Augustus1). If a winner chooses one of these coins I will have it shipped directly from Warren. Coins not chosen will be shipped to me . (I have discussed this with Warren already, but the coins may not yet show as sold on his website) More contestants are needed! We have not reached goal of a minimum of 10 contestants. Noob? Chrsmat? Whizbro? Ben? FR? MetDet? Everyone? Aren't you going to give it a try? The first round closes for entries this Wednesday at 7 a.m. SICILY, Syracuse c. 287-278 BC AE23, 10.76 g Reign of Hiketas Obv: Zeus Hellanios left (beardless) Rev: eagle left on thunderbolt Ref: Sear Greek 1209, Morcom 782. Well it's hit the minimum number I set for it to proceed, so it's a go. Wish more people would enter though!
I thought there would be more interest. Free coins and all...
