Here is a picture of an 1817 Large Cent, 13 Stars. The coin doesn't have the flat, wide rim that I'm use to seeing. I don't see any signs of "hammering" on the edges. I wonder if someone didn't roll this coin until the edge became like this coin's?

Anyway, I have this coin up for auction on this forum, if anyone is interested.

I don't think it's a mint error, though...by any chance did you try to sell this on ebay within the last week?

No. I have only put up Jefferson nickels in the last few days, and I have some gold pieces up and my ebook. I have never listed an 1817 on ebay.

I don't think it is a mint error either.
