I'm thinking emperor Elagabalus, from Nicopolis-ad-Istrum, with Asklepios on the reverse. Have looked at both on wildwinds and it is slightly more Severus Alexander than Elagabalus. Don't have SA so that is good. They are very similar. Report this Post to the Staff

Went through acsearch and found a similar reverse for Gordian III. The lettering to the right of Askiepios is slightly different, but I think the coin is Gordian III. I am not going to be able to add a reference to the label, but would you agree with me? Report this Post to the Staff
