Could someone be so kind as to have a look at my coins years 1922-1960
19 coins all up.

I know nothing about coin collecting and my mother would love to know what she has

Kimmy, Stay in school. While mom cant retire just yet, she has the beginnig of a multi-denominational
collection there, Hope she/you expand it.

You asked for a clue.
the answers you received are correct.
what you have are just circulation coins some of them are not in good shape for example the "green stuff" on a coin is "death to a coin".
But since you asked for a clue from 1922 to 1960

There is about $5 of silver there all up. Most of the other coins arent worth much at all (only a few cents each).

And older is not necessarily better. Some later dates had much less made which makes them rarer.
