The nearest I could find on Wildwinds was a bronze AE 22 or AE 30,
Emperor Tiberius, of Carthago Nova, (Spain)
Obverse Tiberius bare head right, reverse Caligua, bear head right.

NOT an exact match, but may lead to a better attribution by others.

What is the diameter, and what is it's weight?

It looks like a "tourist fake".

The Lituus in the right field and the style is like the AE's issued at Sabratha, in modern Algeria.

Could not find an AE, with a bust right, with "APRONIVS" on it.

I agree that if looks suspicious. I think it is a cast fake 'pickled' in acid. A flat sprue (6 o'clock) was broken off and left in a rough unfinished condition.

Well if it's a fake they did a very good job at aging it.

I couldn't find much on 'Capronius', although I remember seeing it once on a quadrans.
