I love the details on this bill. It has something of an odd cut angle, but I will happily welcome it into my bill collection!

Most dominion of Canada fractional notes have some odd cut to them. I was told they were actually hand cut at the teller when they needed them. I'll leave that for someone with more knowledge to either verify or dispute.

The note looks to be in Fine condition... I think you did well! I really love my fractional notes and if you have a collection of them this will do very well in yours! GREAT PICK UP!

Haha, I was looking at my Coins of Canada 30th Ed and was wondering what the grade was of this bill. I estimated it was around VG-VG+.

Nonetheless, I can't wait to add this to my collection! Its now the oldest Canadian bill I've got in my collection.

I have seen some where scissors have been used to trim ragged edges, which the top would appear to have had this done on yours (but I am no authority just an observation.) Nevertheless a nice 143 year old bill. I have one or two in about the same shape and I'm glad to have them,Enjoy
