The 1840 looks to have a faint and very small letter V on right hand base of ribbon. With WW on truncation.

Didn't notice anything about the 1900.

I'm not sure about the 1840. Are there any stops before or after the initials? And can you count how many berries there are in the wreath?
And yes, I don't think there are any varieties of the 1900 besides where it was minted (unless you have a proof).

There are stops to the right after both initials, so W.W.

And I think I count 21 berries but standing on a chair near the light with a loupe at 3am I could be wrong lol.

So the V indicates Madras but I see between 21 and 24 berries.....mule I guess.

My literature makes no mention of a V on the ribbon but 28 berries is Stevens & Weir reverse 1 and W.W. is Stevens and Weir obverse A. For this die pair apparently the diameter indicates where it was struck (with Madras being 30.7mm to 30.8mm wide).

The V indicates Madras anyway....so maybe no Krause number...
