Hello everybody,

Not much of a coin collector but still need some help. I am designing postcards depicting current coins and banknotes used in different world countries (with hope to complete a series of some 190 countries/postcards) and at the moment struggling with the sizes of the St. Thomas and Prince Islands coins.

The set in question is the 1997 Dobra 100,200,500,1000,2000 coins. Does anyone have any information about the diameters of the different coins mentioned?

Any help or clues would be much appreciated.

Many thanks...

Hello and welcome.

The WorldCoinGallery page for this country has links to all five of the denominations you enquire about, with pictures giving a scale in millimetres.

Hope this helps.

Sap,

Thank you for your reply and for the link. I was visiting this site earlier today but was hoping for more accurate measures. I usually get the measures from the central banks' sites but in this case St. Thomas bank's site does not give any detailed information about the coins and banknotes.

Cheers,
