XD I'm looking for an holed older coin to turn into a necklace. I think it's a good idea, but I'm short on cash. I did see a 1798 dollar that's holed, but it's for $375, way over my price range!

It seems that the hole IS indeed authentic.
It would have some intrinsic value, albeit extremely tiny.
That value would be related to the value of the air contained within the hole.

So, if the seller does not charge any more for the hole, it would indeed be a free value offer to the buyer.

A cherry picker opportunity!
