Grades on the Sheldon scale can go as high as MS70 .
NGC seems to give such lofty grades quite freely.

Thanks. I keep forgetting the coins in the US grade differently. What would a US MS68 be compared to an ICCS number?

That coin looks like it came from an Ottawa PL-set...

I have a couple ICCS MS-68, NBU coins and a set of PF-68 nickel dollars.

PCGS does use MS-68 for business strikes, but the coin better be darn near perfect... I have a couple of MS-67 PCGS nickel dollars...

So an NGC MS67 would be the same as ICCS67? A 68-70 would be superior quality to ICCS 67?

From my limited experience submitting previously graded coins to ICCS, ICCS will probably grade the NGC coin lower......MS68 is close to perfection, and I bet ICCS feels more comfortable with a 67 or lower grade, just on principle.

The coin in question would probably grade MS66RD at ICCS based on my past experience.
