I found a 46 nickel with a real funny sound and I found a second one in the next roll, and it sounds normal. It is not silver that was checked by a jeweler. Any ideas? The rim when looked at under 10x looks like it was cladded.

Could be a laminate blank flaw.

If it is what I have guessed, there would be almost no increase in value, although it may be more interesting for most collectors. The extra interest may increase it's saleability.
