Not sure if this has been in a recent topic, but it seems our own Coppercoins has just banded with PCI to grade and attribute Lincoln cents. He also signs each holder prior to closing. I personally think this is very cool, and I hope this gives a little more diversity in the TPG market. The main info is right on his home page. I have yet to look into it deeper.

Good luck Chuck!!!!!

A few months ago, PCI picked up some big names for their attribution service. JT Stanton( CherryPickers Guide) became president of PCI, Chuck is the Lincoln Cent variety expert, Ken Potter has Canadian and World varieties, and Rick Snow has Fly-In varieties. They also have other specialists, I just picked out the most recognizable names. I think PCI is really trying to gain some respect with these moves. They have a ways to go but we may be talking about "the big 5" grading services in a few years.

I could see PCI gaining a Lot more respect because of staff chances and the way they do business. However that would no effect the thousands of coins that are already graded by PCI floating in the market. I personally would be weary to purchase one unless I could easily confirm a date. Does PCI have bar readings like others that you can look up information on it and possible a date of slabbing?

Hmmmm, sounds like they need to change the color or something of their inserts to differentiate....Although I guess that may hurt the company as a whole....

HMMMMM. So that is why I haven't seen any responses from coppercoins on any forums anywhere lately.
