1973-S Lincoln Cent Possible Double Die Obverse

clakkala New Member United States 31 Posts	Posted 10/02/2013 08:14 am If any of you have a chance can you please give me your opinion on this 1973-S Lincoln Cent I found which appears to show doubling in the word TRUST on the obverse side. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/02/2013 10:41 am John is correct. It is Machine Doubling. The devices are reduced in the areas in question. Note the center of the "S". If it were a doubled die the entire coins devices would be enlarged. As it is, the upper parts of the devices are reduced with the doubling. Report this Post to the Staff
