I recently had a customer not receive a package I sent via Aust post. as a result I have reversed his paypal payment to refund his money but now I have an amount yet to be received on ebay? what do I need to do now to undo the transaction on ebay?

Not real clear what you mean.

You can go to paypal and issue a refund, they should credit your paypal fee back. I believe ebay will also refund their fees back.

Heres what I do on ebay.ca, might be a bit different than ebay.au

When you scroll down to that particular transaction, (assuming you have done a refund through PayPal) one of the options on the right should be 'resolve a problem'.
Click on that and just continue to cancel the transaction with the information that makes sense.

The buyer needs to accept to cancel the transaction, but in the end you will get your fees refunded.
