I love it Cassidy77! This really jumped out at me when I got a Euro Collections email. The tin case with various scenes, 40.7mm diameter, proof .999 silver 1 oz & the only option, my brain said find the cheapest available & order 3 now!

really stinks the expense of shipping coins to & from Canada, more of a border to this hobby than the actual physical border!

@arianzo.....thanks for the APMEX update....when I landed on their site it showed not available but as they have the whole mintage rights that must have been a temporary glitch.... @coinhooked ..looking at the Spiderman coin pics I'm seeing finishing problems which I hope are just imaging problems but overall I love the whole deal and the price is right in the pocket for what you will get

Cassidy77, I worry about the finish also by looking at the pic but will have to see in hand. When Superman coins were released, I liked & wondered about Spiderman. This is much more limited overall & tin looks awesome. We will have to compare opinions once we have actually received.

The reverse colorized spiderman image from the APMEX site looks flawed but when you examine the obverse APMEX pic it is perfect so I'm pretty sure its their imaging which shows shading patterns.....but its hard to tell. I'm not clear on which mint produced these coins......Im sure more will show up on ebay pretty soon

The pic I uploaded to CCF was directly from Euro Collections email advertising new coin in stock. Like the design & maybe pic is just bad. I've got to be optimistic as I have 3 on order. FYI, Downies will not charge your cc until they ship. Is this commissioned by APMEX?

There seems to be just the one Spiderman coin pic available which everyone is using at this point......Im sure the coin was commissioned by the island of NIUE...it could have been minted by the RCM as they mint a lot of international coinage as well ,i believe, but more likely the Perth Mint however this is pure speculation on my part......anyways I'm sure it will be popular and more popular than the Dr. Who coin , I would think, but I havent seen that one yet.....I am a Dr. Who fan but that one can wait....

After a bit more homework ,as this is a new area for me, it appears that the New Zealand Mint is the source of this Spiderman coin ..New Zealand Mint produces NIEU coins such as the Dr. Who coin in Silver 1 oz which is compared to the Spiderman coin by some dealers.....they have similar legend artwork and the obverses look similar.......Dealers on ebay who sell the Dr Who coin say the country is New Zealand but I'm pretty sure it must be the Island of NIEU which is a territory of New Zealand and they are having many coins of this nature produced with NIEU on the obverses.......very nice coins..personally I usually stay away from modern commemoratives in general but I did get 2 Dr Who coins on ebay as they look incredible with super cool packaging

Well I have to say this is a pretty confusing coin to source because it was made by the Perth Mint actually but doesn't show up on their site because APMEX bought all the mintage of 5000 coins which means it will be heavily sold in the USA...Perth mint produced Dr Who as well and has sold out the whole 10,000 mintage already..New Zealand Mint is simply a dealer..sorry for all the confusion but this post is the true picture of origin..my first guess was the right one! Perth Mint
