BStrauss3 Pillar of the Community United States 4592 Posts	Posted 10/06/2013 02:31 am Although according to Kevin Flynn they are not that common, I've seen a bunch of die clashes in recent ebay auctions. I mentioned this to a dealer at PNNA today and he said "wait, I have one you need to look at - not a great coin, but neat". I think it s a lot better than that - you have most of the separation between the two lines of the star and the two lines of the shield (the highest point). The reverse shows wear on the diamond and the orbs. Yes, the rim & lettering is weak, but that's normal, type 2s are notorious for poor strike. Next time I will ask to see the reverse first. Now that I see the reverse, I believe the obverse is indeed a weak strike. Not saying I agree 100% with VF but I can see it going higher than VG.
