Its for the Centenary of the establishment of the Kingdom of Italy in 1861. The obverse has the busts of four important figures in the Risorgimento: Victor Emanuel, Cavour, Garibaldi & Mazzini. It's a big piece, 22 gr of .925 silver and 40 mm diameter. It's stamped 925 & 1 AR. No maker's mark. Report this Post to the Staff

You know there are times when I wonder if I'm using the same Google as the rest of humanity. No matter what variety of search parameters I tried, nothing. On reading the link provided I thought that it was maybe the same place the seller had taken his info, as he'd wrongly described it as 2 1/4". But he also put the names of the dignitaries in the right order, which the JFK does not; so there has to be another source out there. Somewhere. Report this Post to the Staff
