Hi Groendrup
For the Hong Kong notes, as far as I know they are still legal currency but I notice a crease and the signs of corner folds in them although they appear almost UNC. In that case you might expect around US$7 (catalog UNC = $10) and US$10 (catalog UNC = $12.50).
The first US note is standard issue and only face value. The silver certificates may carry only a very slight premium given their condition. However, I don't think the Thai banks will exchange them as they don't like grubby notes.
So how about meeting up in Chaweng sometime? Say Stabucks one afternoon? Next week? Time of your choosing? I may be able to help with some catalog info for your computer. And I'd love to discuss the Thai notes (and coins if your interested).
