AU50, takes a big hit because of the Reeding Marks over the neck and reverse field, might even bag because of them.

I was worried about that reeding mark also FadeToBlack.

Does anyone else have an opinion on how this might grade, and whether the reeding mark may merit a details grade? I bought this key date for $230 I was considering having it graded.

I don't think they will bag it for the chatter,
since it looks like it was hit by another flying coin into the hopper..
Looks high end AU to me..

Good to get these graded either way though, good date. GL.

I going to say that it is more likely to grade than get bagged for those marks because the majority of it is in the field behind the head which is not as grade sensitive. Like Morgans, the face is the worst area to have marks and had they been in that spot it would more likely details grade than not. With that said, I think it grades AU-50 maybe 53. The coin seems to have a lot of friction both in the fields and on the design.
