Lincoln Cent No Mint Mark

Hello guys shouldn't a 2009 Lincoln Cent have one of the 3 mint mark letters?

No, Cents do not get a P for Philadelphia, the only US coin that does not.

For general circulation, P for Philadelphia were not added until 1979 for SBA and 1980 for the other denominations.

And, there's 4 now. The W for West Point was added a few years ago, but you can only see it on a handful of coins.

Oh, also when I look at the new pennies, it seems like the font is extremely thin. I wouldn't be surprised if a mint mark was just worn away.
