BStrauss3 Pillar of the Community United States 4601 Posts	Posted 10/10/2013 8:20 pm Two similar but very different Coins & Paper Money>Coins: US>Three Cents>3c Silvers Coins & Paper Money>Coins: US>Three Cents>3c Nickels If somebody lists a 3CN in the 3CS category? If they list it in both for maximum exposure? If they call it silver or use a stock 3CS description I send them a note as that is clearly wrong... So far I've sent about 6 messages, always with a polite or better thanks back... People often list certain coins in similar catagories for just that reason... more exposure. However, that doesn't give them liscense to erroneously advertise something that it's not (i.e., silver...) SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 10/11/2013 07:23 am I see that as a common "honest" mistake, especially for folks who list lots of coins in differing categories. It's also a practice that can be (and is) abused, but honestly one can't really make ironclad accusations about it and it's probably just a source of extra angst in one's life to pursue it. You're doing a service for the "honest mistakers," of course, since they're hurting themselves by miscategorizing their coins. Report this Post to the Staff
