justanothercoinaddict Valued Member United States 467 Posts	Posted 10/13/2013 08:14 am Hello everyone, I just wanted to discuss a piece from my collection that I recently discovered to be an 1880-H twenty five cents Narrow 0 Over Wide 0 variety. As I was looking over the piece very carefully I noticed that it also has a crossbar in the V of Victoria. Needless to say I was pretty psyched to suddenly find out that I had something that was more than the "garden variety" Narrow 0 quarter. Would anyone care to weigh in on the coin in terms of how many of these might be extant, rarity, value and so on? I'm sorry that I cannot post pictures but the coin is a nice original piece in a PCGS VF25 holder. To think, I very nearly traded it away.... Report this Post to the Staff

Nothing's changed since then,it's a really great find,but there's not much interest or premium for 25cent varieties not listed in the Charlton catalogue.Those who seek these usually wait till they can pick one up unattributed.
