Paid 184.00 for whole roll supposedly never opened. I think 1909 has been cleaned but I'm new to this. Report this Post to the Staff

westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7618 Posts	Posted 10/14/2013 10:37 pm These guys make these rolls up and deliberatly have scarce coins on the ends to snare in uninformed buyers. (Anyone can buy a small crimping tool on ebay and make these rolls "look" bank wrapped). Anybody with any common sense would NEVER in a million years put a roll of 1909-S cents on an auction site w/o checking the other 48 coins in the roll. Chances are the other 48 coins in the roll are very common wheat cents. A harshly cleaned 09-S is not worth more than 50$ in my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
