Hello, I am new to this forum and curious about specific mintage for a specific coin. I have a $15 2012 Silver Year of the Dragon coin as you see here and I have estimated its worth at about $150 CAD but this is a series 18888/48888. I know that due to similarities in numbers the value increases but I was curious if you guys could help me figure this out? Thank you, pach33x (New to collecting)

I agree, $150 is very reasonable for the coin with the special COA.

It's impossible to know in advance.
For the penny it made great special COA but for example nobody bought the Superman Gold Coin with COA #75. It's like a lotto, because you are not selling a coin, you are selling a COA.

Gotta say I find is strange that people will talk about paying extra for a particular COA number. Meanwhile, there is another thread where others are extremely concerned with counterfeit COINS. I mean how hard would it be to create a fake printed piece of paper and multiply your return on sale of a legitimate coin? Buddy on ebay expects someone to pay a 5 grand premium for #75? Wish him well but if anyone does they are insane...or maybe the guy who bought that roll of pennies

I have to say I completely agree, it doesn't really make sense but I wanted to make sure before I put the coin for sale on ebay. I also have 2 other $20 coins from 2011 with the lady bug and tulip. Can you guys inform me where I post if I want to sell these? I am evaluating these at $1000 is that correct?

You're selling 2 for 1025$? Listing is confusing. Mentions 'boxes' (plural) and 'CAN BE SOLD SEPARATELY' but then references 'coin' (singular). And pictures of two coins. You'd be giving them away at $512.50 each.

If you just have 2 in total and you receive 1 bid in each auction, you will be in trouble.

$150 could be too much. Maybe you could receive best offer at least.

Quote: Can you guys inform me where I post if I want to sell these? Hello and welcome to the forum. ebay would be your best choice as it will not happen here anytime in the near future. If you would like to actually be a participating member here and contribute to the forum, then eventually you will access to buy/see/trade on here. However, it is a privilege here to do so and it takes a bit of time and effort. I have removed your links to your items. Ask all the questions you want about your items and folks here will help. Will will not be a free advertisement to your ebay ventures though.
