I recently found a 1964 Penny in a penny roll the other day. It is unreal how shiny it looks. It looked like it was glowing when it cam out of the roll. I do not see anything wrong with it, but was just wondering why such an old penny looked so good.

Looks nice & not cleaned. Occasionally you might find them like this into the 40s. You never know what's in a roll. I have found a couple of Indian cents, 2 Barber dimes and coins from 26 other countries in cent rolls.

There are still change jars out there that were accumulated decades ago. Every now and then one gets dumped back into circulation and some of these old red cents turn up again.

I've got rolls of many of the 60's BU's. I like to compare the BU with the proof cents. Wow what a difference:
