This coin has a great luster and a subtle yet attractive faint light purple patina on the obverse.

got this for $25 today

heres my take on this coin;
the hairline between L and I on the obverse looks like it could be a staple scratch, and I have no idea whats up with the scratch across the eagles face, but under magnification it appears too thin to be a staple scratch.

otherwise this coin is near gem gorgeous.
