Has anyone done a crossover from NGC, ANACS, ICG to PCGS of a xx70 coin and gotten a 70 grade back?

You're probably in the wrong forum, I've never seen a classic US coin at neither MS70 nor PR70 .

You better try the modern coins forum:

To me MS70 is a hypothetical grade anyways, at least with coins struck for circulation,in proofs I will agree there can be some 70 point graded coins out there. Never owned a 70 graded coin, at least not one in a TPG holder, and personally wouldn't pay the premium for one, as I don't collect modern coins or much of anything made after 1960 at least. MS68 is the best I could hope for in what I do collect, and lately my interests lie in early American coins so even EF45 grades start to get stratospherically expensive!

The premiums is why I am asking as IGC and NGC and ANACS PR70 tend to be on average $30-$50 less.
If you send 10 or more at once to PCGS then average cost per grade is $22.

For 70s, you should just buy them in the holder you want them. If off brand holdered 70s bring $30 to $50 less and it costs $22 to grade- then you are saving $8 or a little more IF it crosses. If if doesn't, then you blew up the whole deal.
