Better pictures are needed. That second one is way, way too small.

EDIT: Ahh Much better! But I still dont think you have a DDO

I am guessing that your focusing on the "tick" in WE, but thats is far from a DDO. Coop has many examples, but in short, the DDO for the 1972 has either a really, really fat date and other obvious doubling somewhere else, like on LIBERTY and In God We Trust. When you see one it will be quite obvious.

thanks for the input y'all - much appreciated as always! AND yes - I am still extremely new to this but - I have tried to read as much as possible and do research on the web. so, terminology, pictures, etc may not up to par yet but I'm working on it. Anyway...thanks again for looking and I have a 1982 cent that I will be posting shortly if anyone would like to take a look and help out.
