It looks like there is some coin metal pushed up along the right side. If so then it is damage.

It may be a struck through rim burr. John compare your coin with bag marks sizes? I think this is a lot larger than a bag marker? A 1970's coin?

coop, it's a 2006.It does look a lot longer then a normal rim ding and not all that deep compared to it's length.If it's a struck through what would a fair value be for it?

Small premium. Is there any rim plating missing? It may have come off another coin's rim?
I found a few wire struck through on a mint set. I left it in the package. The bigger the error, the better the price.
