So many months ago there was supposed to be a "100 Fu Blessing of Good Fortune" silver plated coin. Where is that coin now? Did RCM cancel the release? Or it got released in some other markets?

Also, there is supposed to be a stained glass coin released for Christmas. RCM has the photos released already on their FTP site. But where is that coin?

Some photos from their FTP site, people can download them from ftp://communications:RCM2007@ftp.mint.ca as well.

Yes odd that there is no mention of the Fu coin in the November release ballyhoo.

That stained glass coin looks interesting - 1st I've seen or heard of it either. thanks for the sneak peek.

We might be seeing marketing/design surpassing capacity at the Mint. I know, I've heard that some of the production/engraving staff are becoming as overwhelmed as are we buyers.

Added: Giving it some second thought, I believe the November release info published on RFD is coming from inside CP so maybe these coins will be released late this month, just not through CP.

I personally like this stained glass coin.

I did some more research, the design is based on a stained window savaged from the Knox Presbyterian Church, which got destroyed by the Regina Tornado in 1912.

A photo of the window can be seen in this page:

The ullustration or drawing usually look not as good. I'll be interest in the glass coin if it ever make it out.

From the image, it appears that the coin will be enameled.
