While putting together a complete Dansco w/proofs Eisenhower album, I got a good deal for 3 1971S Blue envelope Ike dollars on ebay. Once they arrived 1 was in really good condition. The second was a little tarnished. The third is the worst. It is covered in a turquoise-green tarnish with pinkish spots. It looks like someone sneezed on it before it was packaged.

Needless to say the first coin had a tight seal in the cellophane. The second coin had a small breached seal, while the third had a 3/8" breach on top & dead-center.

I used the first Ike in my Dansco album.

Now what to do with the other two. The tarnish will continue if I leave them in the OGP.

So would you save these coins by cutting them out of OGP and putting them in Airtites or would you leave them alone in the OGP?

If Airtites are chosen, would you still keep the OGP? Even though the OGP would be empty except for the blue token.
Had Ike's #2 & #3 not been tarnished, I'd keep them in OGP.

Thanks in advance.

Drop them off at a bank. Someone will go nuts when they get them.

Thanks for input. I put them in in Airtites and stashed away the blue tokens.

It was kinda amazing how much better the coins look in their new capsules.

With the 4 empty spaces on the last page, I finished off my Dansco Ike album with 1990w Ike Centennial BU, 1990p Ike Centennial Proof, 2013w 5-Star General BU, and 2013p 5-Star General Proof.

I believe my album is from 1975 because it shows mintages up to 1974.
