dsfreeworld Pillar of the Community United States 4337 Posts	Posted 10/24/2013 10:49 am I'm not a Peace dollar collector so I am not confident if this is genuine...the experts will come along hopefully and clear that up...however, it seems there is something funky across the reverse through the wing and running into the rays above "dollar"...even if genuine, that would knock the grade down to potentially "details reverse damage" especially considering there are 2,500,000 of these available in the market graded 60 + Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 10/24/2013 3:55 pm Looks well-struck for the date, but then again it's the single highest-mintage Silver Dollar ever struck. I'm a bit bothered by some of the color contrasts on the obverse, and I think that streak on the reverse might have been made by a rubber band or something of the sort. If that's the case, there's no way to remove the streak which wouldn't be destructive to the coin's surface. Pics are a bit small, though; I'd be willing to revise my opinion of larger images show the detail better. Report this Post to the Staff
