I am going to try to make a "clockface" of CofF rotations.
For anyone wondering what I am talking about, I mean getting a set of 12 coins which covers rotations at 1 oclock, 2 oclock, 3 oclock, etc
Can anyone shed any light on how common or rare each of the rotations is?

The hardest rotations that I found hard to get were the 11 & 1 o'clocks.

I agree. These ones are not as obvious to the eye on first glance. 3's/9's are the commonest, while a full 6 looks the best, being the 180 degree of upset. Love the rotateds....

This idea has sparked a high interest personally.

Would anyone have information of the amouts that were minted rotated?
And is it confirmed there is a full set of 12 rotations to find?

Searching on ebay has only reveled 4-5 rotations.
Currently finding a few of the 50c rotations I'm thinking its time to look for the others.

Yes, there are a few clocks made up. The Royal Australian Mint has had one on loan from a collector -I assume it is still on display.

Hi Matt,
It is a pretty cool idea isn't it?
It has been pointed out to me that this is going to be extremely difficult to do.
They are a rare error
Then within that small group they will be divided into all different angles where only 12 out of 360 degrees will be 'just right'
Then some angles will probably be more common than others
Also they are actively being collected so the number available to find has shrunk and is still dropping.
I was thinking this would be the next challenge after finding wavy 20c and a dollar mule, but this looks like a whole other level of difficulty.

Thanks for the info, guess id best get started right away.
Noodling has become quite the enjoyable pass time for me.

Will keep you posted with any finds and if lucky enough to come accross any double up would be more than happy to trade.

I've just changed my email preferences so they should be abke to be sent now.

$500 noodled last night, about 30 cof but no luck.
Not as enjoyable as the 50c and 20c, I will have to research what else is collectable for some more variety and think give a $2k noodle a shot.
