I have a 1993 Penny that has an odd looking line coming out of Lincoln's neck on the obverse. It extends towards the date. There is also a strange straight line, or dash, right after the date extending to the rim. The date is raised.

Correction: I meant to type "the dash is raised". I would like to know your thoughts on what caused this. Thanks.

If it is raised it might be a die gouge. What concerns me if the mark to the neck. It looks incuse so it might be coin damage? What is the mark east of the 3? Raised or incuse?

That line coming out of the neck looks like a die gouge to me, and the dent close to the rim looks like PMD.
