1 1955 penny . On the Elizabeth lettering especially the B there are 8 lines running from the B to the denticles . Reminds me of the guitar and Violin varieties . Sorry for poor picture .

Can't see it well but most likely from a die that was polished by the mint.
That is generally done when there's a die clash.

Looks like it might be tool marks, or tool damage. This is caused when the die edge is filed down but the file marks aren't buffed out fully. They are found on most , if not all, years (of pennies, at least), and they're fun to look out for. Sometimes it's just a single line, sometimes several, and they can be of varying sizes, from a millimeter or so up to a centimeter long. I have a couple of hundred different ones, ranging from the early 50's up to 2013. And just for the record, the 2013 is a loonie, not a penny! (lol)

Lamination error? Hard to tell from the photo...but also could be tool marks.
