I've lived in Hawaii for about 3.5 years now cause my wife is in the army.. since I started purchasing coins I've had issues with opened/damaged packages, empty packages and missing packages....

today I received a envelope that was supposed to hold a 1850 braided hair copper.. but it was empty, the envelope was cut and the coin was taken out of the hole they cut in the end... I have reported this problem all the way to the post master generals office in DC which ill have to do again Monday...

I just want to warn anyone shipping to or from Hawaii to get a tracking number and insurance on your package.. I'm out 18.00 for the coin but its the principle... thanks for listening.... PEACE..

I'm sorry to hear that Stylez.
I've had only two packages "raided" and contents gone by either some scumbag postal worker, they are out there, used to work for them, and have heard of this (including the sorting facility) probably here on the ML.
It could also be someone, possibly, at your actual box doing it.
