Looks interesting, but it may just be a split plating on the lower loop. I would hang onto it for now though.

Coop, It was dirt late (near 1am) when I shot those pics, I will see if I can get a higher definition of the very base of the coin.
Its an RPM, but very well could be just a D/D vice the D/D/D. No great loss if its not a triple. The coin with a little work on the surface may be a XF at best, so its not an expensive coin, even if it is a triple D.

The area to get the closer shot would be where I think it is a split. See if you can see gray in that area. If it is gray, then the zinc is starting to work and make the surface rise in that area. That would be what I would want to see. The upright bar isn't affected at all, so that is why I'm not certain at this point.
