1738 seems to have been a blank. Here's a worn but readable 1737 George II British shilling - young portrait of the King, and plumes and roses in the angles on the reverse:

Sorry to be a rules stickler but we are not allowed to skip a date. So we need a coin for 1738. I can't help out 'til 1736. ~jack

I've got a 1738 Papal States Clement XII Quat Trino Rom. Let's see if I can take a quick picture... Ah, here we go. Sorry for the eBay-quality pics.

1738 has been posted before that we had 1737 do we go on with 1736 or 1737?

Ideally, if NumisRob and Bacchus2 (or a moderator) could remove their 1737 posts and insert them after 1738 we would be back on track for any additional 1737s or a 1736.

Apologies, jgenn - I should have read the rules, I thought that it was one year a day. I tried to remove my post but can't, but if a moderator would like to do it, that's fine by me. Sorry!

Ok, I think we can post other 1737s or move onto 1736.

Thanks jgenn!
1736 is a blank year for me, but perhaps somebody's got one!
