I love scoring old coins for spot! Nice grab! I picked up a 1909-O Barber quarter the same way!

I think you mean you got it for "melt". Melt is the value of the silver in it. Spot is a price per troy ounce of a precious metal.

But you overpaid.

Very nice for spot! The only Seated Liberty coinage I've got at spot are a 1843-O Dime and 1853 Half Dime both VG-8 and F-12 respectively. Your coin looks AG-3. Great find!
