An auction being held by Heritage begins in a few hours.
Is it possible to follow it on the computer?
If so, how do I go about establishing the link?
Thank you.

Did you look on their site (ha.com) click through to the auction and see the yellow and red button labeled "Live Auction"?

Thanks, BS..., but I found the 'live' link. It just crashed but I am starting to restore it.
The coins are coming up shortly. Now it is all project Mercury stuff. Outrageous prices, but
each to his own passion.

I watched a bit of it today too. I wish the 1st auctioneer would have called in sick. At least he wasn't handling the coins...

It's strangely boring - whether it's a few hundred dollars or a hundred thousand it's the same drill. Lot 61... couple bids... anyone at (value). Sold (buyers number). Repeat. 30-40s/lot, with only a few getting any serious bidding. By the time you finish reading the description, it's sold.

Their auctions do move fast. You're best bet is to do your homework on the coins ahead of time on their website.

I never bid on line at any leading auction, such as Heritage.
Instead, I do lots of homework, and
lodge a maximum price written proxy bid.

Sometimes, I win at a lower price than my written bid.

No need to pay any attention to the auction. If you are successful, you will be informed.

That way, you do not become a victim of your own bad instantaneous decisions. Instead you can forget about the auction, and do your job instead. No need to hassle any employer.

You win or you loose. That does not bother me one jot either way.

I only treasure my new acquisition after it has taken it's place in my collection.
