Thanks to some excellent advice here and a very
understanding seller I was able to return my previous
1832 small letters CBH (cleaned, artifically re-toned)
and obtain another one..
Care to guess the grade? (PCGS)

Of the 23 die varieties known of the 1832 Half Dollars,
only one (Overton 101) has what is called the "Large Letters" reverse.
This die break is always present and, when it gets even
bigger, it becomes the O-101a subvariety.
It is unknown if the first O-101 coin struck had the die break.
There may be Large Letter coins out there with no die break.(Thought this might be a O-101a later stage die break).

(Photograde sample for ballparking..)
